My wife and I are on a journey to pay off the remaining balance of our mortgage. Like many Americans, we took out a 30-year fixed rate loan and said to ourselves, let’s just pay it like it’s a 15-year note.
Well that hasn’t happened. Now we are going to step it up and be more intentional about cutting down the principal on our mortgage. Yes, it’s a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) but what life-changing goal isn’t?

It’s amazing what can happen when you tell your money where to go instead of wondering where it went. Will this road be hard? Yes. Will it be worth it? Absolutely.
