The longer I am in school the more expensive tuition becomes. I realize now all the scholarship opportunities that I missed out on by not applying or by not having a good standing GPA. Currently, I working towards a PhD in Business Leadership and finding scholarships for this level of schooling is hard to come by. If anyone reading this blog post knows of scholarship opportunities please send the information my way, you can fill out the contact form above to send it to my email. I would surely appreciate it. As you may know i’m not the only one in school, my wife is also working on her PhD in Organizational Leadership.
So we are trying to cash flow two doctorate degrees. So far so good but we are already getting ready to pay for the fall semester and if you know schools, they want their money. Not only do we have to pay tuition but we have to pay for books and software programs. I pretty much have the books down. I’m good at searching online for used books so we are able to save hundreds this way every semester. I know what you’re thinking hundreds, yes, one book brand new can cost way over $100. So image having to buy several for two people.
Tuition is calculated per hour and the hourly rate increased from bachelors to graduate and then again from graduate to doctoral. At this level the government pretty much cuts you off since most of the funds are students who attend college full time and are in need of financial aid via filling out FAFSA. Granted our estimated family contribution (EFC) is significantly higher than when I was a broke college students just a few years ago but my GPA is outstanding, but a little too late.
So i’m interested in any scholarships that are for PhD students who are going to school full-time. Any suggestions?
