If you are a parent and have students living in your home, then you are probably wondering what they can do all day. I have an idea, they can get a summer job. Many parents hate the idea of having their students get a job for the summer.
There are plenty of summer jobs for students because companies like Six Flags know that they can hire them very cheap. But on the flip side they also get the flexibility that comes with a student, like they don’t have to work every day or depending on the age they can only work a certain amount of hours a week.
The typical lawn mowing business for students is always an option, although not typical anywhere. But here me out, what is a student can get one yard to cut a day and charge, lets say $25 to cut the front and back. That student would make $125/week, $500/month. Is this realistic? Absolutely. Get a buddy and you can easily double the profits.
These days they can make money online. Lets face it, most students are going to want to stay home and watch cable television all summer while checking their facebook status and sending out random tweets. If they would put a little of that energy into creating a profitable blog, they can blog all summer and make money during the school year. This is what I call websidual income. You do the work on the front end, and reap the profits later. It’s a growing trend among bloggers and very few are willing to take the plunge. I wish I knew what I know now just 3 to 4 years ago, I would be bring in some serious cash.
It’s never too late to publish a profitable blog. I create them all the time but can you imagine if a student was to create a blog and keep it while they are in school and still generate income that way. They can start earning income and better yet if they are college students they can use the money to pay tuition and not take out student loans. Yes, the possibilities are endless but with time much can be done and students have so much time on their hands they can easily post several times a day and create a readership.
